Is normal waiting for update more than year ?

I asking myself question again. Boonex did it again - left platform and concentrate to brand new trident dolphin U version. Why god damn  isnt there already D 7.2 version ? Last update was year ago - this is happenning with all dolphin version from start of this platform. It will be never finished - its over and over again - after its in somwhow stable version boonex concentrate all workers to new version and leave old one. Of course for new version you will need buy all extra 3rd party modules again. I dont know what to think...

think what we all think... it sucks and they should have updated the version about 6 months ago!!!
for me, i don't know if i should build more features on my 7.1.4 version or wait till 7.2 as it will be more or less a new start(version).

I stop developing my sites already because this is really never-ending process. Last released version is quite stable but need some fixes to be usable on production site but looks they never make it there.  I bet updates to 7.2 frezees and stay where they are - same like D6. They all work on dolphin U platform which will be on same stability as current dolphin maybe after 2-3 years and numerous updates plus another invest to buy all 3rd party mods again. Boonex turned dolphin in endless money sucking monster which is supposed to be never finished !!! Be sure after they achieve some first stable version of dolphin U thay again stop work on it and will work on another version and so on... forever. Now I really regret all money and time I have spent on dolphin - I catched all whistles and bells boonex present to us and catch the bite on this money eating clever marketing turn. This is not software but huge money eating manipulation campaign -  with only one purpose - suck money from us forever.

I agree 100%. Boonex been doing this for 14 years now and will NEVER have a finished project. In way less than that amount of time any good developers would have a great product they could be proud of and not just keep dumping for 'the next big thing .It's only for them to keep sucking money out of those 'wishing' they had software to build a well suited site.

As long as we are asking for improvements, adaptations and extensions, the product will never be finished.

Besides that, the world around Boonex isn't stagnating. Neither is this community.

The latest version is far from perfect, but it's stable.

I can live with that.

If the product worked as it should, you wouldn't need to ask for improvements. Special mods is one thing, but basic functionality is another.

So let's start with what's not working as it should?
