 I just upgraded my site to 7.0.4 I was a bit surprised to see the chat is still working fine connecting to the old RMS. I thought I would have to immediately upgrade the RMS as well. Does 7.0.4 work with both an old RMS and a new RMS? Or did something go wrong in my upgrade? No Signature at this time. |

From what i understand, the new RMS is for the videochat. Has something to do with the fix that was done to automatically remove user created chatrooms when they become empty. https://www.deanbassett.com |
The new RMS uses the latest version of Red5. I guess its supposed to be a bit more reliable. I know that if there were a lot of people using audio/video, the old RMS would frequently crash and have to be restarted. No Signature at this time. |

Ya, and I also notice now that I can't edit or delete chat rooms from admin while using the old RMS. No Signature at this time. |
