Hi AlexT,
What I mean is when Boonex decided to incorporate the Pinterest idea in the timeline "Yes, it is Pinterest-inspired" (a wonderful decision) you only implemented one part and I explain myself ; When you click on any picture in Pinterest, a picture loads up and if you click on that picture again "it takes you to website" Or you can Repin it Like it or embed a website. See attachments.
On Dolphin you click on any picture and a picture loads up and that's all. I really want to know, because if not I will have it done on my website.
Regards,
Tradock

Just 6 words. Pinterest and dolphin are different things. so much to do.... |
You can also draw your attention to third-party products, for instance: http://www.boonex.com/m/pinter-photos |

Yes, this is different behaviour, more suitable for different module. However if you use Sites module, it should work very similar to what you want. You can configure Outline to show content from Site module only as well. Rules → http://www.boonex.com/terms |

You have to remember, Boonex's favorite trick is to entice you with incomplete mods so you'll spend more money to gain the functionality they should have had by default. You want the Pinterest mod to work? it's gonna cost ya. Otherwise, it's just another weird photo gallery http://towtalk.net ... Hosted by Zarconia.net! |

It leaves a big gaping hole on your index page if someone isn't posting every ten minutes http://towtalk.net ... Hosted by Zarconia.net! |
off topic, but AndrewP is an BoonEx employee exploiting the project, I mean really.. he was banned b4 and back as nothing happened. Stealing code and making modules, believe me if I could, I could exploit so many vendors; been warned so I will refrain. BoonEx forgave the hacking I guess we should all. Something is not right here.. let's revolt! haha, just kidding and Budweiser talking for me... We need more communication between us... I hate to bring up bad news but this cannot be ignored.. http://www.boonex.com/n/AndrewP_suspended_penalised ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |

My content does stay for some months, you must be missing a setting. ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |
Hi, I can't response to all your post at once; My only question is; Is boonex going to implement the Pinterest capability to have a website embedded into the picture? I know Dolphin is different from Pinterest but you have to admit the setup works wonderfully and since "Yes, it is Pinterest-inspired" can they go one step further?, Most of Dolphin webmasters tap into a niche so If I provide you with a way to link back to your website by means of a picture, don't you think this would attract a lot more visitors and at the same time help you with links. As I said "I just want to know if this will be implemented in the next release, If they do, them I put my time effort in other things, if they don't I will have in my platform" . I don't have time to dwell with problems that Dolphin may or may not have, short comings of script or bugs; Technology is moving too fast and the market is changing at a faster pace. We can go along or become dinosaurs. Regards, Tradock |
