IE is caching cart contents

I don't know if I'm just now noticing that IE is caching the cart page while Chrome or FF do not OR if I've changed something somewhere along the way and now can't find to reverse that change.

I've turned off all caching options in the Admin Tools Cache Settings panel just for grins but no help there.

Scenario:

  • User clicks Add To Cart.
  • User clicks cart icon to get the short description and price total via popup box.
  • User clicks link to open the Cart.
  • FF & Chrome displays item information.
  • IE displays 'EMPTY' but if user refreshes page then the item information appears.
  • User adds another item to the cart and repeats the above steps.
  • FF & Chrome displays all the items information.
  • IE displays what was showing in the cart the last time the user looked.
  • User refreshes IE and now all items display as expected.

Questions:

  • Is this just my install or are others having this problem?  This is a test copy and I don't have another 'clean' version to check it on.
  • If it's something I've done to cause it, where's a good spot for me to go looking to fix it?
  • Lastly, does the pragma and expires setting work anymore with the later versions of explorers?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion you may have to help me with this.
