do you by chance have one of those crazy browser add-ons that turns different things on web pages to links to other retarded sites?

It does not respond when i click on it.

But firebug does show there is quite a few ads positioned off screen on the page.

They are on your splash page. How to remove them would depend on how your splash page is generated. If you have a physical splash.php page, then check it.

Change your cpanel and ftp site passwords.

your splash page is full with links. after

<!-- end of body -->

check these links and check and how they got there!

Also your page width is way to big... you should fix that too while you are at it.

Someone gained access to the files. I had this happen before. Somehow, they were able to inject the links. I would search rhe forum as it has been answered already.....

If you've given out cPanel or FTP access to a bunch of people, that's likely how it happened. It's possible someone who had access had malware. and so the cycle goes. Do make sure to change your passwords (all of them) and use only temporary passwords when giving somebody else access.

Also make sure there aren't any extra FTP accounts you don't know about. Last but not least run Malwarebytes on your own computer.
