I.P. not allowed ?

Hi all, really hope somebody can help me.

In the past days, I had a LOT of "Security attacks" on my server and I follow what have been read here to make my Dolphin 7.1 been configurate correctly.

Now, attacks stopped, for a while but, each time I'm trying to make a change, in Admin mode, told me "Possible security attack!!! All data has been collected and sent to the site owner for analysis."

Was able to live with it for a while but now, each time I want to make a change or even go on my website address, it says: "Your IP address is not allowed" (french to english free translation).

Can anybody help me ? I probably done something wrong and, even if I keep track of all changes done, really can't find it.

Please let me know where I can make change to get rid of that problem a.s.a.p.

Regards,

Gus

If your IP address is blacklisted and you can not log into your website, then you will need to clear it from the database.  Or you can try logging in from a friend's computer with a different IP address.

Once in, go to tools, antispam, settings; /administration/antispam.php?mode=settings

Unckeck the Smart antispam check.  Check the block list to see if your IP address is included and remove it.

Or you can just power off then back on(power cycle) your Cable or DSL internet modem and separate router if you have a separate router. This will assign you a new IP address and you should be able to log back in.

Then do what geek_girl said to do in admin.

Some broadband providers don't dynamically assign IP addresses; perhaps to better track piracy.  However, you can try power cycling the modem if you are not sure about your provider.  You can check your IP address by using one of the online services if you don't know it; such as http://www.myipaddress.com/show-my-ip-address/  Check before you power down the modem and then check afterwards to see if you have been assigned a new IP address.
