How would i add a like button to the timeline

How would i add a like button to the timeline this is something that people almost require on social sites now days. I'm working on doing this i started looking at the code from Dolphin-v.7.1.1modulesboonexwallclasses. This is where im going to start posting my progress so we can make this happen.
