How to send mail to inactive users

Hi,

Is there anyone who would help me about this:

I would like (mass mail?) to send an e-mail to users which Account is about to be deleted.

Currently in my settings account deletition time is set to 180 days from last login. What I'd like to do is to automaticly send e-mail for example 10 days before the member account is deleted.

Some would say, why bother with members who haven't visit the site so long,... (I agree)  but, I just want to be nice to users....

Is my wish doable over mass mail? Well, I'm sure it is but I guess that would demand much more coding??

As a thought:

I'm already using a Automatic Confirmation Emails from AntonLV. Maybe that code could be altered and used for that purpose.

Greetings from Slovenia

OK, I guess I'll have to go for new investment.... Wink

Thanks.

But before doing that I'll try to play with above mention module to see if I can do with it what I want.

Bought it tried it... a lot of problems, and no support from vendor. Slow and indifferent respond to my e-mails, answers are on the level like "clear database"..., I am asking vendor - scriptologist to open support Forum and he still didn't ...

Payable modules should get proper and prompt support.

If I'm asking how to repair the link creation so that it would be:

mywebsit/profile.php?ID=xxxx (where xxxx is ID number of member)

instead of:

mywebsite/username (which gives an 404 error - I'm not using rewrite).

I expect a detailed answer and not patronizing response in terms of: clear database cache.

Bad bad bad. Sad sad sad. Angry angry angry.

aw! can i help with anything?

 I hope, you can.

One problem is generated links on Nickname in Inactive friends block. Let's call one member a "Friend" (with ID - for exapmle 100).

Current nickname link "Friend" is: "mywebsite/dolphin_root/Friend" (which gives an 404 error - since I'm not using rewrite)

I need to change that link to be: "mywebsite/dolphin_root/profile.php?ID=100"

Another problem is INACTIVE FRIENDS block which in Firefox looks like this:

pasivememberbloc

It is hidden behind other block. If I put it to the bootom I can see inactive friends but light-blue background is missing....

I told about all of this to vendor but no response other then "clear database cache", and "template problems" which is stupid if I can see block properly shown in IE10 or Chrome (sometimes problems occure even in those two browsers - tried 100 times clearing all site cache manualy directly on the server but it didn'd helped)....

I've told vendor about incompatibility with D7.1.1 (wasn't stated in config.php of the module so it returned me an error when first installed. I managed to find out the problem, told the vendor, he updated module (26.03.2013) but forgot to say "hey dude thanks..."

Next problem happend when there was no e-mails to inactive members. Luckly I've got database error report to my e-mail so I managed to repair it. It was a problem I've coused by editing the e-mail template which are periodicly sent to inactive members. I added something like: system automaticly erase  bla bla bla and then: don't - the apostrof was the problem.

So if you can help me with link generation and maybe with I belive css problem in block generation I would be more then happy.

Greetings
