 We have been told by our development team that there is no way possible to change the display name that is attached ( displayed ) to an Avatar. Currently the persons username is displayed with the Avatar. We need to change the display name with something that is more readable such as "Mary & Tim". Is there a way to do this ? |

Just an educated guess, but try starting in the modules/boonex/avatar/classes/BxAvaModule file. Most of the time the nickname is generated by a function called getNickName().
I really haven't examined it. This is just an educated guess to perhaps get you going in the right direction. |
be careful changing function though because many things are tied to things such as Uri. Changing 1 thing may be simple, but this could potentially create a domino effect of broken links. Some things may give you diminishing return for the amount of work that you put into them |
