I wanted to add a quick note and suggestion for people on how they can earn money on their site.
The first one is quite obvious. Have a premium user level. Make it so that only paid people can use Audio / Video chat, limit some other functions etc. This way you can make a little money to help with the server costs. (Don't make the premium too pricy. Remember that it's better to earn on quantity, so if you make it affordable, like 2$ a month, then people may get it. You can always raise your amount once you get bigger)
The second is a mod that I've found from "modzzz". Not only does he bring forward new ideas that improve the Dolphin script, but also helps with the revenue. One of his latest mods is such a great example that I had to make this post. I am talking about the "Verified Member" mod ( http://www.boonex.com/unity/extensions/entry/Verified_Members/ )
The reason why I'm such a big fan of this mod, is that it's EXACTLY what every site needs. Fake profiles are the biggest problem on online communities and people like to feel safe that they are talking to the person on the picture. This mod will help your members to feel safer AND earn you money.
You can simply chose a small fee so that people can get verified. Again, think long term, earn on quantity.(1$ to get verified, or for free if you are premium?)
So overall, it would bring your site more security + earn you money, noone really cares about 1$ if it means they are safer. :)
