How to delete the "add video comment" feature?

You can add:

td.cmt-head-m a.cmt-post-reply-video {
display:none;
}

at the cmts.css file in $DOLPHINPATH/templates/tmpl_yourTEMPLATE/css/

I have done that as you said, but its not working...

Record a video comment is still there, I want to remove that as early as possible..

Please help me.

You need to:

1. Open templates/base/css/cmts.css  and comment out line 460-462. This will remove the video camera icon.

2. Login to your admin panel. Go to Setting > Language Settings. Search for _Record Your Comment. Click on edit and remove Record a video comment from the String Text for English Language.

By commenting the lines

the webcam icon is not going. I think I have to do something more to remove that icon from commenting area.

Are you clearing the cache and public cache's?

Leave the .htaccess file, do not delete.

After clearing my web browser chache, the web-cam icon was removed.

Can someone help me out while deleting this feature I got rid of the Camera icon, but instead of deleting the text in the key I just deleted the whole key for "record a video comment" is there a way to get it back? Because the Record your comment text is still there but the string is gone.

try adding this text back to your language file and recompile

" _Record Your Comment"
