How to add a friend when ACCESS DENIED?

Hi I have searched but cannot find. I want to set all profiles to friends only. However I turned one profile into friends only and I am unable to add that person as a friend all I get when I click on the person I searched for is ACCESS DENIED. Now how can I ask to be a friend if no option available. All help appreciated it's driving me nuts. Or is there a Mod that does this?

The user could, for example, search for a friend and then hover over their avatar in the search results and click on 'befriend' (or 'add friend' if you've also adapted your language key) in the pop-up box.

wow that easy! it takes like 3-4 secs to pop up. Maybe my internet connection.  Thanks is there a better way do you know to put add friend in the access denied page?

You can change the time it takes for the pop up to open and close .

but i can not remember the file to edit its in the forum somewhere ..

You can change the pop-up time in the admin panel... Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Profiles... then change "Timeout before displaying profile info(in seconds):" to your desired pop-up time. That being said, I'd also be interested in a modification to allow a friend request to be sent when profile access is completely denied.

Privacy settings, is something Boonex never got quite right.  It it senseless to apply the 'friends' privacy setting to every single profile element.
