How is Dolphin Different

What is it about Dolphin that makes it work better on some host than others? I have about 15 sites I host with Godaddy and works flawlessly. However, I purchased another hosting account from Godaddy to host my dolphin site. It runs rather slow at times.

I am going to talk to them and see if they can fix the issue or credit my account back and find a new hosting company just for Dolphin.

Okay…would you care to share? I have shared hosting as well. Everything about my site works. I have seemed to work out all the bugs for now. Just the past few days has been some quirky hosting stuff going on…such as connection refused….host not available…site loading slow…nothing major but when you're doing a startup site…it's crucial.

when my site is going slow I have to call godaddy and tell them why my site is loading to slow but now my site is runing normal and fine no more slow

but if you get a DS or VP your site can load more faster than share hosting

shared hosting is just not good enough for dolphin.

I set my first sites up using shared while I learned the Dolphin ropes, then moved to dedicated.

Costs more, but totally worth the extra.

Sites load nice and fast, completely stable, no 'peek times' where all the other shared users are online using my resources...

Shared is pot luck with whoever else is using your server, and how much bandwidth they are consuming...

Go VPS or Dedicated especially if you are running more than one site.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to call them today and see what I can get done. I can't have my members dealing with it the way it is.

if you have slow traffic why you need  VPS or DS

if you have a lot of traffic and a lot of member visiting your site I thing you have the right to change for VPS or DS

I have decided since most hosting companies charge a lot more than I am willing to pay per month for Dolphin hosting, I am going to put my server at my cousin's business on a static ip and host it myself. I have it at my home at the current moment and was using it before I signed up to host my site with Godaddy...and I must say being on my own dedicated server...it runs much faster and smoother.

I have a real beefy server that it will be running on and more than enough specs...should be good once I relocate the server.
