Download Filezilla, its free, just google it. Then, go to cPanel and look up FTP Accounts. Beside your Main Account should be a button that say Configure FTP Client. Click that and it will take you to a screen that displays info you will need to enter into Filezilla. After you have downloaded and installed Filezilla, click on File, the Site Manager. Click New Site, then enter the info from cPanel. |
Or be a man and use sftp from the command line. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |

Just talk to your web host, they will give you the ftp info you need. It's really simple to do. You possess an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can help you heal, and relieve stress. |
To quick for me deano..lol You possess an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can help you heal, and relieve stress. |
If you're using cPanel, there should be a link on the front page that will bring you to a list of your FTP accounts (you should have one by default). It'll typically be:
Server: ftp.yoursite.com Username: cPanel login name Password: cPanel login password
You should check the available list of FTP accounts to be sure. In the event there are no accounts listed, you can make one on the same page. Just follow the directions and you'll be done and presented with the needed connection information.
Edit: Jesus Christ, I pause for two minutes to turn on my radio and Deano beats me. I still think my directions are better, though. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
