How do I create a sub menu?

I cant find any instructions on creating a sub menu as in the profile menu where there is a second horizontal menu under the top one.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hello, just add your item in menu builder under the main menu block. See mail section for example:

Mail

Compose

etc...
