How can I put an anchor tag under top menu ?

Hi - I want to put an html anchor tag under the top navigation menu so that I can target an page from another web page and have it jump down the page to the 'MainContent' section.

Is this possible ? - I think it must be.

And related to this - could I also have an 'on load' feature set up at top of each profile page that automatically jumps them down on loading to the same 'MainContent' anchor?

If necessary I am willing to pay to have someone set this up.

Thanks Muchly

Please someone help with this... its been a while. Cant be a hard thing to do can it?

BTW MyDatery - Wow man I wasn't aware that having a signature that links to your business was a crime on Boonex Unity! Its hardly spamming the forum when Im asking a couple of genuine questions! Therres a difference between advertising and spamming mate! However... in consideration of your extreme reaction I will refrain from mentioning my business here.

Thanks - Dan Vantari

Tell you what, I'll answer one question for you, that is in regards to what is thought of your facelift you gave your site, specifically to the home page:

1.  Too busy

2.  Too dark

3.  Too Amateurish

4.  Automatic 10 second hi-jack to the actual homepage, very annoying.  Like your telling people that you know they can't find it without your help.

Now on to where you redirected:

1.  The Java/Flash you have placed in the promo section is incredibly annoying.  It draws attention away from the actual site.  Your expecting something to happen, but it's just never ending bad graphics.

2.  Main Background.  You spent hours on that poorly appearing Promo section and you spent 5 seconds on the background to tile repeat all over the place a black with multi-colored dots.

3.  Cursive Font & Printed Font = Major Faux Pas, this should never be done.  Keep the mind on one style or the other.

4.  Your bright blue font on white background is very difficult to read, throw in that rainbox text and it just gets worse.

5.  Good job on the "Learn"  "Create" & "Connect" Menu Tables.  You did a good job with multi-tables/java in here and got the layout to hit dead on.

6.  Menu:  Double layering the Menu is a poor idea.  If someone wants something in the sub-menu of a top menu item they have to be incredibly quick & nimble or they have to click to the main menu item and then the sub-menu.  Not user friendly at all, waste of bandwidth, processor and server memory to call up the extra pages that aren't needed.  It's been proven long ago and now become expected, that people can obtain any sub-menu item with a simple hover and not have to click through.  This layout just wastes end user time and annoys them.

You asked for an opinion, that is objective.

BirdTribes, did you or anyone else ever find a solution for this? I have a similar need in my D7 site. In my case I'm trying to get the page to scroll up to the profile customize section when the customize profile button is clicked. Normally I would use an anchor and some js that would fire on the body's onLoad event. Not sure how to accomplish this in Dolphin yet.

I'm hoping enough time has passed since mydatery slammed your post that someone will help with this.

Thanks in advance.
