Help me !! Problem with update !!

Hello everyone, here's a little resume of my problem... hoping to find a solution...

I did a update of my site from 7.1.0 to 7.1.4... I followed step by step the indications on this web site...

While executing the update of version 7.1.3, an error message appeared... I tried to re-installed that update but I didn't have access anymore.

So  I install anyway the last update version with again that same error message...

Since then my web site as been running real slow for the members but not for the administrators ??

My knowledge a very limited in programmation but I managed...

We can't help without knowing the error, and you should not have proceeded without seeking help when you first encountered it.

Diagnosing problems with computers, software, scripts, ect is no different than doctors diagnosing problems with people. The more details about the symptoms you can provide the better. Go to a doctor and say it hurts without explaining where it hurts and what kind of pain it is. You will find that does not get you very far.

While installing version 7.1.3 it didn't complete, and when I tried to re-install it, a error message occured reading "access denied".
So I continued installing the following update and the same thing happenned...
 
Since then my web site is running very slow...
