Help Please

Hi,

How do I get my site name to be just my domain name and remove the/dolph from the address bar? I purchased the licence to remove adverts and thought it was part of that?

Thanks

Debbie

Just move your dolphin installation to level higher. Provide us with your site url

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first

Move your site up from dolph directory to the root dir via ftp or something else!
Than open the inc/header.inc.php

and changes these vars:

$site['url']               = "http://www.globaldancenetwork.com/dolph/";

with

$site['url']               = "http://www.globaldancenetwork.com/";

AND

$dir['root']               = "Your_dir_rootD/dolph";

with

$dir['root']               = "Your_dir_rootD/";

Notepad is fine, but Wordpad isn't. I recommend Vim, personally.

Just a quick question I went through this and sorted it fine :) but my problem was that I had initially installed it with Softalicous and now my back-ups through Softalicous will not work....Obviously because of the missing 'dolph', how would I change the path in the Softalicous software please.

Thanks Dane....
