I also seem to get this issue randomly .. I am wondering if its due to custom templates?!

At times when viewing a post ... the post is pushed all the way to bottom of screen and after refresh it returns to normal (but not always).

Pain in the ass and bad looking to the viewer :/

Exactly the only way you can point people to the forum is by pointing with the permalink

Is there a way to have the posts default to permalink and take the other link out of the equation?

I have checked this in UNI and my custom templates and i don't have this issue.
Did you modify the forum in any way that made this issue to start?
did you use firebug to see what the empty space is... is it really empty or is it a div that is just there without any content.

hope you find your solution

is it possibly a cache issue. you said it happens, then refreshing the page makes it go away. Have you cleared your browser cache? Have you tried on another computer or other web browsers?

 I have this issue at random times and across all browsers I have tried ...

no matter whether I clear caches or not the issue remains

I have seen it at times as well, only on the home page. Never seen it in the forums.

To find it it has to remain consistent. But because it has not, i have yet to be able to locate it.

Hi, i looked in IE 9 and 10 and it works fine.

FF is big empty space.

if you ad this to the css of:.boxFirstHeader {

    color: rgb(255, 255, 255);     font-size: 12px;     font-weight: bold;     position: relative;     text-align: left;     text-transform: uppercase;     background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(100% 100% 90deg, rgb(153, 153, 153), rgb(0, 0, 0));     border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(209, 209, 209);     text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px rgb(0, 0, 0); overflow:hidden; }

i think that will do the trick. only the bold tekst (overflow: hidden;) the rest is in css already.

let me know okay.

greetings
