HTTP Error 500 after upgrade from 7.0.1 to 7.1.1

For about a week, I have been getting "HTTP Error 500" every time I select "Settings --> Basic or Advance, in Admin panel. I just received an upgrade from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

Please See Bellow for Error.

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.myellowbus.com/administration/basic_settings.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Here are some suggestions:

Did you manually clear all three cache folders after the upgrade?

I did not manually empty the caches after the upgrade. However, I did that today before I entered the Forum. I am 100% sure all caches are empty . The 500 Internal Error continue to show up. I also checked with my Host and they said all my website functions work fine on their end.....

7.0.1 to 7.1.1? Me thinks you missed about 10 steps....

Do you mean you upgraded 7.1.0 to 7.1.1? If you did try and upgrade 7.0.1 all the way to 7.1.1 in one step, you gots big troubles

If you can look at the server's master error log it will show what is actually causing the error. If it's a shared hosting account you'll have to ask your host for help.

I had the problem on my dev domain, I reinstalled it and now it works fine. I guess I must have done something wrong.

By the way. I did upgrade from 7.0.6 to 7.1.1.

I'm sorry Quarrles, I could not figure out in time how to resolve it correctly without a reinstall. (Like windows, reinstalling is sometimes quicker and easier then finding a solution.)
