Gzip error

Anyone know what this is? I am getting the error loading my site in ie8

Yeah I tried editing that line "elem[ name ] = value;". The gzip error went bye bye BUT so did my member menu. Hence, I put it back and have been putting up with the gzip error until I find a fix.
