Guests can't download files

Hi,

I uploaded a file and selected the option to view public. But when I log out and check the file, I can view the file there but there is no option to download. In the admin panel > settings > membership level, I have enabled the download, view and approve options for visitors. Still why cant visitors downlaod it? Am I missing anything? please help.

By default non-visitors haven't possibility to see actions block, where option 'download' is available. U may change this condition in modules/boonexfiles/classes/BxFilesModulePageView.php

from this:

if ($this->iProfileId) {

to next one:

if (true) {

You are the champion! Thank a lot man.... that worked. The actual file name is BxFilesPageView.php.

I did this, and the block now displays to guests. But clicking on download a window comes up with access denied.

What can I do to fix this?

Have you changed the permissions as needed?

Permissions in the Membership Settings? Yes, non member has all file permissions enabled.

I have got to this stage and had the same message "access denied". Has someone got a solution? Is this a default that is being fixed in Dolphin 7.0.1

I can't go this far: modules/boonexfiles/classes/BxFilesModulePageView.php.

All I can go: modules/files --> Main or Setting.

I look everywhere for boonexfiles/classes/BxFilesModulePageView.php
