Groups Shoutbox

I thought this had been asked before, but I could not find what I was looking for. What I want is a shoutbox for Groups. So that there is a simple real-time chat box specific to each group - while on the Group View page.

Since it uses flash, It may not be suitable for you.

Here's a good opportunity for module developers.  Group/Pages text chat that doesn't use RMS or flash.

I already have built modules for Groups and Event Text Chat. Will post them in the market shortly.

 What happened to your top menu?  The layout looks trashed. 

I currently have the Group/Pages chat module, but it is a separate page. I am looking for:

1. something a lot smaller - like the size of the shoutbox
2. something that I can put on the Group View page and not on its own page - like the shoutbox is on the homepage
3. something that does not rely on RMS or flash (php, mysql, ajax, jquery, ... - all that stuff is fine)
4. something that I could posssibly put on other pages within a Group that retain the chat - no matter what page a user is on when they type it.

 There is a popup version of that chat.
