Getting blog listings on other pages

Hi,

I'd like to get the latest news listed on some other pages beside the homepage or the blog page.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this please.

I tried taking the RSS and using a feed widget, but the RSS doesn't validate properly restricting things.  An iframe wouldn't work either as I just want the blog list not the whole page.

New to Dolphin and still finding my way.  Thank you for your help in advance.

Use Deano's admin too to insert a php block into that page

Then drag the Blog block and drop it there, or use Deano's another tool to copy the Blog block to that newly php created page.

With Deano's tool you can almost put any block anywhere.

The two modules mentioned are "Deano's Tools" and "Block Tools"

Deano has a bank of good mods, some free some are not, but the price is very reasonable. His tools make life a lot easier for the Dolphin webmasters.

About the only blog block that can be copied would be the one on the home page. The blocks on the actual blog page cannot be copied by my tools.

To use blocks that were designed for specific pages requires custom coding. They cannot simply be copied.

I appreciate the recommendations of my block tools module, but to many people are expecting to much from that modules block copy feature. People should not be recommending it as a way to copy blocks in dolphin. It can do that only for a very small number of blocks, but people are touting it as a way to copy any block.

That feature may come out of future versions of the mod. It's really not that powerful.
