Still a need for a decent fundraising module for Dolphin...
At the mo, we have a few options on market but all of them require manual processing of all funding transactions... kinda shoot themselves in the foot as the point is that lots of people will use them!
The standard in other applications is to use paypal adaptive / chained payments.
This allows site admin to set a % that will be kept from any funds donated. This is then AUTOMATICALLY split between site admin and the receiver (fund starter) by paypal.
I've set this up using WP on another site and it works effortlessly.
Dolphin though only has manual options for these sort of mods at the moment where funds are collected, then admin has to go through them all manually and make outgoing payments etc...
A headache for time, paypal fees, and tax accounts!!!
Please can someone look into this, either one of the mod developers of existing fundraiser mods, or another developer for a new mod.
We should have the option to make something like 'Kickstarter' or 'Indiegogo' using Dolphin but its not there at the moment...
