Free for one month, then charge?

Is there a way to have new members enter their payment info but give them one month for free?  I'd like them to enter their info, get one month for free, and it will start to charge automatically after one month if they do not cancel.

Do I already have that ability or is there a mod for that?

With the current default Dolphin payment module, I don't think there is a way; it does not support subscriptions/recurring payments.  Your scenario is that a user clicks buy membership; they fill in the payment details, the membership level is applied to them but the user is not charged.  PayPal does have the bill me later thing but I am not sure that would work in this case or not; plus, I don't know how it even works.  You can research paypal for options but it would still have to be integrated with the payment module.

What I would prefer is that a member had to enter their payment info to complete the join process.  I don't even want them to need to click 'buy membership'.  Maybe I need to post a job offering. :)

 There is a mod where you can force a user to choose a membership level when they join, then restrict it so they have to join before using the site.... dont think you can delay first payment for 30days though...
