Funny thing happening and I dont know how to fix this.
My entire forum is working fine when i set it up today, but I notice that the letter "o" (as in Orange) is missing from the entire forum.
Why? What? Where?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Now this is an interesting issue. Is it missing in all locations? What is the result of the missing location? Is it only missing at the beginning of words; is there a placeholder there or is the space collapsed? For example, the world location, is it "lcatin" or "l cati n"? In the word "orange" is it " range" or "range"? Edit: on seeing the other reply; when you say "entire" do you mean entire or just certain places, like titles? Geeks, making the world a better place |
Some config on the server might also help guide others in determining why; OS, webserver, php version, etc. Geeks, making the world a better place |

Thanks for your replies guys. Glad to know I can count on your feedback. Well, I'm too afraid to upgrade from the 7.1 to the 7.1.2 given the amount of traffic I'm getting right now. I notice the "o" is missing when I'm adding new forums or sub-forums. Then when I return to the Index of the forum, all the "o"'s are there again. Another mystery is why mysite.com/forum/ or mysite.com/forum/?action=goto&index=1 produces a server error. 503 Service UnavailableThe server is temporarily busy, try again later! I'm hosting with Hostforweb who seem to be at a loss. First they suggested i add litespeed a few weeks ago (and I didnt have forum module installed yet), now, since adding the forum module to my site they say litespeed might be the problem...but they dont know how to fix it. Can anyone suggest anything? |
"l cati n"
This is how the missing "o" looks. But Deano mentions this very problem was fixed. Trouble is I cant find that fix. |
This fix may or may not be your problem. You have not specified the exact version your currently running. Only that it's 7.1 which is not accurate enough. This fix was done quite a while ago. Should not be happening on 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 https://www.deanbassett.com |
