Forum issue! When not logged in and clicking REPLY

When you try to reply to a forum post when not logged in

a yellow 'loading' bar appears up top and gets stuck

no message saying you must be logged in to post?????

Whats going on am I the only one seeing this"?

Ah! I get this also!

Do you also get a warning message in the lower left corner of screen saying Javascript void when you hover over the 'reply' button?

Are you using any additional template or standard install?

I have this - where it just hangs when logged out user clicks 'reply' instead of directing to 'access denied' notice.

I also can't 'like' a post, again I notice the javascript void message in lower corner.

I have a 3rd party template installed though, it works fine before I install the template...

Waiting on template author to reply to help request at mo...

Recompile forum languages for each language and template after applying the fix.

                 I added the code to my JS and Recompiled the language.

Still get the hung up loading when trying to reply if not logged in

What did this JS edit actually do?

Make sure that you recompiled language in forum: admin panel > modules > forum > compile lang: en | compile lang: ru

If you have multiple templates, then you need to do above thing for each of your template.

No change for me... 

made the code change, cleared cache, recompiled in all templates, cleared cache... no change.

Still just hangs when clicking 'reply' when not logged in

also nothing happens when logged in if I try to 'like' a post.

Any further suggestions?

Nope, code has been removed and new code added. 

Cache cleared, lang recompiled etc...

still the same.

I just checked the file in question, the code has been changed.

Nothing has changed though...

2paulm - are you using an additional template or are you using Uni?

Mine now works. 

The only thing not working now though is the forum post 'like' button doesnt do anything .

Any suggestions on this?
