Forum errors. Won't load.

When on my site (www.bigwalktv.com/social) I tried to access the forum after changing the skin and got the following errors.

I know I must have done something wrong, but I have no clue what it is. Please help.

The template you installed skin004 is not compatible with your version of dolphin.

I am guessing either TMDHosting or Cogzidel provided the template.

I really wish some one would do something about getting those inferior free template offers shut down. This problem has been mentioned so many times in the forums i am starting to have nightmares.

Once those (slow to adopt) new market rules come in, developers who list a product as compatible with the latest version - and aren't - will be in for quite the surprise...

In the mean time, I wouldn't be against removing outdated stuff.  Who's using 7.0.2 still?  You?  Upgrade, because there are a few exploits in there. 

Those templates are not available in the boonex market are they? I hope not.

However there should be a rule about that. If you did not get something here, then don't ask for support here.

Maybe a bit too much, but really. If the people providing the templates had to listen to the complaints instead of us, then maybe they would do something about it.

Cogzidel isn't, but TMDHosting is.  skin004 is a Cogzidel template, and their stuff is known not to work.

Does create a problem.  These templates do not work, and are not available here.  My response to these kinds of topics is always "this template isn't compatible."  That's it.  And products which don't work with the last few versions should be removed or hidden.  What good is a template or mod that only works in 7.0.2 and below? 

I am rather confused by your comments so please make it plain. Are they to help me or upset me? They have successfully done both btw. I am not  a programmer. I am a consumer with limited knowledge of computer language. I am not interested in paying for ANY templates when free ones don't even work. Who does that? Pay money for something the MIGHT work regardless of where the template was posted. Where are the free templates here? If there were some uncustomizable free templates here and then we pay to have them customized, that would make sense to me and probably other business owners. However when we request help we are greeted with comments such as these. There is no reason for those comments to be posted publicly in the forum since they are opinions and not directly assisting the task at hand. 

The short version of the above is this:

If you are going to help, then help. If you are NOT going to help, then don't.

Basically we are saying that the template you obtained is not compatible with the version of dolphin your running. That is what is causing the error.

So if you want it fixed you need to contact the author of the template.

There are free templates in the market here.

The difference between free and paid templates is the paid ones are normally maintained. Free ones quite often are not.

Also if they are listed here in the market, rules state the vendor must specify the dolphin versions they are compatible with. If not then the templates get removed. And if to many complaints are filed they are also removed. Templates posted elsewhere do not have to comply with any of the boonex market rules.
