Forum Posts in outline?

How do I get the forum posts to appear in the outline and also where is the setting to see more than just a few outline posts?  I've seen posts saying it is the wall that drives that is that correct? I've changed that but it did not change the visible outline.  Thanks in advance...

dont know how to get the forum posts to appear in timeline, but to change the number of items in the outline, try (in the admin panel) under Modules - Timeline - Number of events are displayed on Home page: and change that number and see if that is what you are looking for.

Forum posts do not show up in the Timeline or Outline. Actually, they have never shown in the previous 'wall' either. It's because the entries do not show in the BoonEx spy table (which drives the timeline/outline). The forum has it's own table for tacking new postings.

You are right, Forum was never integrated with Wall. Timeline and Outline are parts of the same module which was previously called Wall. Right now it's Timeline.However you cannot see anything abount Forum in Timeline/Outline not because "entries do not show in the BoonEx spy table". Dolphin Spy and Wall are separete standalone modules which track events from the other modules separately. Spy stores them in bx_spy_data table and Wall (Timeline) in bx_wall_events one. So, you cannot see events related to Forum in Timeline/Outline because Forum and Timeline were not integrated to each other. May be it will be done in some of the next versions of Dolphin.
