Forum Posts Display and Image File Size

Hi all,

Im very new to D7 and I am finding my way through quite nicely. I do, however, have a couple of questions that I couldnt find the answers to before posting.

On my homepage I have the "Forum Posts" block enabled. It is showing posts with no problems, but for me, I would like to limit what is shown. Currently it shows the topic as hyperlink and the post itself. I would like to restrict this just to topic.

Im sure this is going to be a XML or RSS file somewere, but I cant find it.

Second question: Can I restrict the file size of images uploaded the photo gallery and set a file space limit for users?

hi again all.

I have figured out how to restrict photo size uploads and adding limits to photos, I only have one thing to fix.

The Forum Topic block on my homepage is showing the link to the forum topic and also the first few lines of the text.

I would like to have only Forum Topics as links. I have found the RSS feed code (forum/?action=rss_all). How to I trim this back?

It seems no one knows how to edit the Forum Topics block on the homepage just to show forum topics (not more details).. this cant be true.

How are you?  I would love to "restrict photo size uploads and adding limits to photos" so could you please share this information, in detail.  I have a site that I am concerned about members going wild with uploads and huge files at that.  You help would be greatly appreciated!
