Forum Index and Recent Topics nit side by side

I suddenly find that the 2 modules 'Forum Index' and 'Recent Topics' cannot display side by side and the 'Recent Topics' stayc s under the 'Forum Index' as attached. I cleared cache etc but to no avail. Any ideas?

1.try to recompile the languages in manage forum for both uni template and your own template. do the uni template first.

2. clear cache again in control panel.

3. check your page width in admin panel for forum home
