Forum, Group and Event Permissions

Hi All :)

I am trying to stop the ability for the Standard user to be able to Post topics and threads in the forums.

I also want to stop them being able to Join and Group or an Event.

Those options will only be available for Paid for membership levels.

In the Manage members etc, I have deselcted Forum Public Post, Forum Private Post and saved.

But this is not working - a Standard member is still able to post in the forums....

What have I got wrong.

I dont see an option for stopping a Standard member joining a Group.

Any thoughts?

 Can't reproduce, after disabling 'forum public post' membership action, members can't post in forum.

It isn't possible to control this from membership actions, instead group creator can choose to manually confirm each member before joining the group. If you still want this function, then custom code modification is required.
