Hi

I was hoping someone could shed some light on my blank forum page and blank manage forum page please.

Upgraded to 7.0.3 from 7.0.2

Everything is working fine apart from.
The forum. As per usual!

I have followed the install instructions to the letter. I have also followed these debug instructions

I understand I need to recompile the forum language but I am unable to do this as the Manage Forum page also comes up blank with the following error

forum/?action=goto&manage_forum=1 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
forum/?action=goto&manage_forum=1
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

I have emptied the cache by deleting the files via FTP and I have also installed a new layout in /modules/boonex/forum/layout/ to see if this would resolve the issue.

All the other pages in the forum work fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

have you got a backup of the 7.0.2 that you upgraded to 7.0.3?

if so i would like to make a run at the upgrade and see if i can reproduce this issue you are having?

No, only a 7.0.1 backup. I did the 0.1 to 0.2 update after each other. The 0.2 worked ok so I didnt back it up.

so you didnt test and then backup after upgrading to .2?

well the only other civil thing to do would be to start back at scratch. see what you can come up with. i know it blows, but sometimes, there is one little step that was missed.

what are your error_logs saying? are you on VPS or Dedicated, so we can get apache logs?

can you provide logs from the script?

We are on a dedicated and thanks for the tip in checking the logs. Seems the Apache error log is reporting this
