Few question !

Hi, First of all it has been few years since quite boonex and here i'm back again , so big hello to everyone. All new to me now lol, i remember daulphin use to have an option where we can put the site offline (under construction) is that right ? or i'm just dreaming . I'm starting a new site and i need to hide it till i finish building it , so my question what would be the best way to do that. I'm using latest version of daulphin 7.1.5 pro. Many thanks. By the way all the module i purchased looks outdated lol what a waste of money.

Dolphin doesn't have a 'built-in' way of putting the site offline (aka maintenance), but there is a module to do it. Not sure which one you are using, but I would suggest Deano's here:

Nothing to see here

If you don't mind the header of the site showing, you can use Deano's mod to do it.  It lets you put in text that will be shown to visitors; they won't be able to do anything on the site.  You can set it so that admins can log in and work on things.  So with Deano's module, you could put up text, "Sorry Folks, we are not open yet but we will be soon.". or even give a date.

My module has a script named site_maintenance.php that generates the maintenance page. If you have any php skills, that script can be modified to make the maintenance page look any way you want it to look.

For my purposes, the module works fine the way it is   However, if you need help with the above I may have time to look at it for you.

Before I drop them as hosting for a test site last yerar; no users and still just too slow, they offered RMS for their customers.  If you are not a customer then no RMS.

You are right there , they are slow , i used them 4 years ago and back again to there cause i had no idea what's the best host to use , so i have signed for six month with them and i may move as long as i know what the best host to go to and as long as they provide rms if not is there another way to get it separable ?

Thanks.
