Featured RollerDex Module??

Im looking for a module that is like a roller-dex which is one block on the homepage and flips through featured members profile photos that link to their profiles.

is there anything like this on the platform>?

Are you saying you want a block that shows feature members; say there are 10 feature members and you can look through all the profile photos for each member, with a link back to the member's profile.  So I start at feature member one, look through their profile photos, then click to go to member two and look through all their profile photos.  Is that the idea?

i would actually like their demo to be on the same image that is displayed so that a guest could listen to the voice over demo of the featured member who is currently displayed, but lets take it one step at a time.

I did not quite follow the second paragraph.

I am not sure either. Perhaps a voice greeting or something. It's it's not something built into dolphin already then i would not know. Also adding a link to something that may or may not exist is also not really recommended.

It has not been released yet. I am still currently debugging it.

With the example shown before I would prefer the profile image to be the main focus in the module.

And my website is for voice actors - they have their demos in their profiles and I would like for their main demo to display on a small player embedded into the module

That would be beyond my skills.

Primary reason. The slideshow stops while the sound is being played, and then resumes when it's done. I have not worked with tapping into those kinds of controls, so i don't know how to do it.

If that is a must, then you will have to hire a developer with the necessary skills. The player on the site you referenced is a flash player. It some how controls the slideshow. I also do not develop with flash either, so this one is beyond me.

would be nice to see it a little less boonex-esque and have a larger profile photo as the main image and centred in the block and underneath the use name or real name preferably which the image is then clickable back to the profile :)

I am not sure about attaching the audio; however, I think I understand what you are wanting to do, you want a block that will show a featured member's profile photo, each one coming in and being displayed with a link back to their profile.  That is easy enough using what is built into Dolphin.  Instead of pulling in the avatar, you pull in the current profile photo (and not the thumbnail but the larger profile photo.  I sneaked a peek at Deano's page to see something of what is going on to get an idea.

I have added a second mode of operation. (Profile photos mode) And have switched the demo to that mode. Maximum photo size can be set which i have defaulted to 200px.

I should have this released tonight.

Along a similar vein to piehole site... I remember other dating sites, m@tch.com in particular would allow you to upload a voice greeting. Is there way to do this with Dolphin? Free or otherwise?
