FB Social Plugin slide out

I have a FB Social Plugin that Slides on on mouse over on every page of my site. I do not believe that it has helped me get likes on my Facebook page, but I thought it was a neat addition. I get a few positive comments from developers on its use and also the space saving way it gets out of the way when not viewed. Here is my issue, the images of people who have liked my website page are presented without image size specified. My page speed is about 4 seconds. I would like to eliminate it from my home page but keep it for other pages. Is there a way to keep it in the header_html file but restrict it from the Homepage?
