It's like driving an old Chevy you love it but every time you fix one problem another ! pops up. I Feel like a dog chasing its tail,it gotten to the point where I'm afraid to upgrade 7.5 who,what, not me just more headache
So here is my issues after doing and upgrade from 7.3-7.4 basically to fix the promo issues now if a member logs in it will show all their friends as being online even tho their not online and if they happen to find a friend online there is now way to chat because the chat box/IM is no where to be found
any help will be greatly appreciated

I don't thing i'm going to upgrade to 7.5 two I will upgrade when I see people not reporting bugs in the new version I want to see people giving good reviews and posting new stuff for better dolphin not reporting bugs and bugs and waiting the roadmap to be done so you get the new version with new bugs poping up

Every release is going to have bugs; it's a fact with any software out there. Also, why does everyone keep referring to the 7.0.X releases as 7.X?

7.0.5 is thought to be much more stable than 7.0.4-3 though...you think we should wait for 7.1? |
Ive not had any problems with Dolphin since started using 7.0.1
Any initial glitches I had were to do with my first server setup which just took some time to correct, since then all my Dolphin sites work very well.
Only problem I have is 2 of my sites that were set up on 7.0.2 will not upgrade! Have tried all the recommended adjustments in order to upgrade but just gives me a message saying it cannot upgrade!...
So, I have 2 sites on 0.2 and others on 0.4
They all actually run the same though, although I get more spamming on the earlier ones. No difference in performance though otherwise.

I've been wondering that myself. It may have something to do with the fact that so many people have developed the entirety of their linguistic skills by text messaging on a cell phone. It could be for the same reasons that so many people use terms like "coz", "prolly", "ur", "gr8", and so forth. Perhaps the transition from a form of communication that limits one to 140 character bursts of information, to a world of unlimited characters, is too much of a shock.
