Error logs

I've just noticed that this error is appearing in a few error logs.

[12-Jan-2011 12:20:41] PHP Warning:  Module 'SourceGuardian' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

This was the only error  in Modules folder error.log but there were 100's of them.

Same error is appearing in the periodic folder error.log

Any info on this "SourceGuardian" would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like that is a module for PHP. This doesnt seem to relate to Boonex or Dolphin.

Thanks for the input, I'll see what my host has to say.

Well, here's the reply from my host.

By analysing the error, it appears that it is actually caused by your Dolphin rather than our server. Your Dolphin is "calling" the above module/function, which is currently not present in our PHP configuration. However we can confirm that this module is probably optional and it is not necessary in order for your Dolphin to work correctly.

Anyone know "which" file or files are making the call?

The error doesn't seem to cause any real problems but the error logs could end up huge.

Agent Ransack comes up empty.

That's strange.

Maybe someone else can hop in here and shed some light on this problem.

I did not find any traces of a 'SourceGaurdian' in Dolphin. The script is not 'calling' the module, PHP is trying to call it. This program seems to be a 'feature' that you can install for PHP4 and PHP5 that protects php scripts by encrypting them.

If you have a dedicated server, then its probably something you will have to resolve. If you are on a shared environment, then I would find someone else to talk to at your hosting company. You can see more about the module here: http://www.sourceguardian.com/

Nothing to see here

You're right Zarcon, found this in my dolphin cpanel>host tools>phpinfo (attached)

It's obviously on the server side and I'll need to talk to someone at my host that "knows" a bit more

than the last fellow.

I'll post the results here, (in case anyone else is interested)

I'm using 7.0.4 on a shared host.

Well, I guess that does it.

Reply from my host, ( a number of questions and replies later)

They say my account is the only one getting this error but have disabled the mod for me

and said it would not affect the smooth running or security of my site.

The module in question does not have anything to do with the security of your site it is used for decoding PHP applications which require licenses for further security although Dolphin is not one of them.

I'm going to do some more homework on this but thanks for the reply and the link Zarcon.

Have you purchased any modules that have their source encrypted?

I believe mod mods from ilbellodelweb are. Such as Spy Wall.

No, not yet anyway.

This has something to do with Step 5 of installing

"MAILTO=myemail@mysite.com

* * * * * /usr/local/bin/php -q m:/home/localhost/www/d70/periodic/cron.php

I just install Boonex and i am having the same problem ...

Any ideas?

is this cron.php have to be run?

I can promise you Source Guardian has nothing to do with Dolphin or step 5 of the installation. Source Guardian is a program the protects encrypted php code.

To answer your question though you don't have to use the Dolphin cron job.. but if you don't videos won't process, mass mails won't be sent out, the database won't be cleaned and the cast of Glee won't sing at your next birthday.

LOL! Ok, get ready for a confused follow up by the original poster! Such as:

"Delete all the cron jobs??" or "Be boot manager??"
