Error file not found in uninstalled templates

Hi all, I'm stumped because I am finding errors in my site error log that say: "File does not exist: /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/templates/tmpl_delta"

This is a template that I have uninstalled a long time ago, and deleted from the site before I upgraded from 7.09 to 7.1.  I cannot seem to find what file is calling for this template.

I am also getting errors such as "File does not exist: /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/modules/m" And one that has me truly weirded out is "File does not exist: /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/manager, referer: http://xxxxxxxxxx.COM/manager/ispmgr"

Do I need to check my user ips to see if anyone matches up to the ones shown by these errors, or what? Is it probably someone who is trying to hack the site? Good grief.

I have totally replaced all program files several times uploading through FTP, not using backups. I have made UNI my default template. Just trying to have less errors in the error log. Thanks for any help!

Ignore them. Some of them may be files that were indexed by google and other search engines back when you had that template installed.

Others are just idiots like spammers and hackers looking for specific files. All sites go though things like this. I get things in my logs all the time. Even searches for files that belong to wordpress which i never had installed on my domain yet people are scanning for them.

I ran into this problem and in my case it was because there were database entries that called for the missing template (don't ask me why cause I do not know). I had to go through my db and find all instances of missing files and manually remove them.

Thank you, glad to know it isn't a huge problem going on. I appreciate you sharing some insight on this!
