Double Cron Emails

I'm recieving duplicate emails from the website regardless of what the email is:

cron messages (stats)

messages from email template etc

i used to have the cron setup in crontab -e. but then added it directly to cpanel and have deleted them from crontab.

puzzled i sure am.

Double Cron errors issue resolved.....

Turns out i actually had two crons set up on crontab and also on cpanel....not sure how but removed the crontab ones , now its single emails ...phew...
