Dolphin update

Hi all.I apologize if I posted in wrong category. I use Dolphin 7.0.9 and as you know the date of birth occurring problems in Firefox and Chrome. I think there are more problems/bug's.
I think, it is recommended an update to Dolphin 7.1.1 or this version has more bugs?
If i will update the old dolphin to new version could apera more problems?

I have an active website so i do not want to lose it.

Please help me with some advice.

If you have an active site that you are happy with and don't want to tamper with, then I would not upgrade as you could run into all sorts of problems; and many have.

The browser updates is what caused the problem with Dolphin date picker; the browsers changed the libraries as they updated to HTML5.  The solution is to fix the date picker on your 7.0.9.  There is a fix for 7.0.9 but I am unsure of the correct forum topic to point you in.  Hopefully others will come along to provide the correct fix; I don't want to send you to the wrong one.

As geek_girl mentioned, it's up to you. I am in the process of updating a fairly large community to version 7.1.1, and with the exception of a couple of minor issues, have found it to be much more stable than the 7.0.x versions. Be prepared to do some re-configuration though, since many modules and builders get reset back to their default settings, but in my experience, data has come across intact. (with the exception of Wall data)

All-in-all, though, things have gone smoothly, and would have been finished in a day or so if I wasn't re-designing a custom-built skin at the same time. (and if we hadn't had a lot of custom language key and email customizations)

There are many people who can write computer programs, but there are very few computer programmers.
