I have not done so myself but I don't see any reason why you can not.  What server are you using?

OK, so you are wanting to create a subdomain and do a fresh install of Dolphin to test the HTML editor?  Are the HTML editors showing on other parts of the site?  I seem to recall someone else had this problem.

To install to a subdomain, first create a directory for the site.  Then create your subdomain and point it to the directory you created.  Sometimes you have to wait for the subdomain to be added before you can point it to a directory.  Then upload the Dolphin files to that directory.  Open your browser and type in the subdomain and it should start the install.  Oh, you need to create a new database as well since you can not share Dophin installs on a single database; there is no prefix for the tables in Dolphin.

I have been told that all one needs is to import the profiles table.  If you have membership levels, then there are a couple of other tables but if you just want the members, then import the profiles table.
