Dolphin Chat and mobile

Is anyone at Boonex looking into a Chat application / module that works on all mobile devices?

Flash based chat is kinda pointless these days unless you dont want iphone users!

Mobile use is a massive part of the market and growing, and iphone users are a massive part of the mobile market.

I would have thought this would be a prime thing to update as a module?

Please tell me this is in the pipeline...

Why the F@%$ should dolphin owners have to pay for an external chat service or system because Boonex can not be bothered to supply a sound, secure, reliable and useable chat system? I have removed chat from my site completely now, but it is about time Boonex stepped up to the plate and fixed what is a major weakness in their product.....

It is very much needed.

It's no secret or inside info to know that mobile browsing is the fastest growing way people view the internet.

For a platform that is aimed at communities, social interaction etc... 'chat' is a key element to get right.

I don't see the point in including chat as a module if it only works on some platforms and not others. After all, If I view any dolphin site using an iphone I can still see the 'chat' link on the menu, and attempt to go there just to be left with an empty page.

I resent having to pay out for an external platform to run alongside Dolphin  in an attempt to complete my dolphin site, if I have to, then I will have to though.

Would be nice if someone from Boonex could give some insight into if a decent multi platform chat module is even in the pipeline for Dolphin though?
