Dolphin 7.0.6 Login and Member change profile problems!

I'm on Dolphin 7.0.6 , but have noticed that alot of new people cannot  register, their email address well basically gets regected.

I have also had existing members unable to login and then the ones who can login when they have tried changing their profile information then click save, it therefore highlights the explanmation mark next to email address and says Please Enter Correct Email.

I have also noticed that i cant delete members too?

Has anyone had these problems ?  if so a pointer in the right direction on how I can fix it would be great ?

Its causing big problems with my site and need a fix ASAP

Many thanks

Andy

But the problem only arose on 7.0.5 and thought the upgrade to 7.0.6 would solve it which it has not

I tried to join your website and failed.. Ihave some ways to solve this problem The first one is to reupload the dolphin script in a different directory then modifiy the header.ini.php ( the config file for dolphin ) to match the current one .. And by then you will have a new dolPhin with the same content as the outher one .. Remember that you will not intall dolphin again all what you are goining to do is run another dolphin script on the same db . Dont forget to delete the install directory after editing the dolphin config file manUally .. If you didnt like this one. Then try this Make a brand new dolphin by creating a new db and installing the lease version after that take a back up of you orginal web site db ( after removing all the installed modules ) then restore that db to your new dolphin and test for the problem . The solutions above will take out any problem not only yours but i guess that the are hard to be done So the last dsoultion you have is to uninstall all the modules and see if the problem still there ..

Dont you worry sure they will work specially if there was a problem with files .. Outher wise the problem is 100% with the data base and the need to be fixed . And yeah i recommand you to proceed with the 2nd way cuz bouth of thre 1st and 2nd ways are the same but the 2nd one is much safer . If that solution didnt work for you please tell me .. And after A min i will post you a detailed step by step guid.

Alright this is how it goes . 1-download the least version of dolphin . 2- go to the file manager in your cpanel and create a new folder lets call it "aa" and then upload dolphin contents into it . 3- now create a new db through what ever you like 4- install dolphin :. Now you have a brand new dolphin 5- go to the orginal site and disable All the modules And then take a back up of the data base 6- now go And restore the backup of your orginal web site into the new one "post any problems you may face" . 7- if All the things go true like it supposed to then you will see the same of your orginal web site 8- test for the problem . If it is gone then all you need is to redo these steps in the root dir of your site and dont forget to copy files from the old one "i really advice you to keep the old site in a separate dir in case you needed it " Dont forget that when you do those steps you wont see the logo of your website becouse you need to reupload it. If those steps didnt work then try to fix the db tables "sorry i forgot to tell you that before but no harm" if all of those didnt work then we will try to fix the db
if i did help you .. it wont hurt to go to my profile and add a recommendation for me ;)

Thanks Nazzal

I have a test site on another domain which i had uploaded the full backup of my site to, I then went in and changed the header.ini.php, then imported the backup of my database of the original website.

Everything looks to be working fine on the test site in the way of registering and changing profiles.

So I'm gonna add modules back into it and see what the out come is once they are all back.

Thank you for your ideas and instructions they have been a great help, I may have some more questions for you soon if i get stuck again though.

but many thanks Laughing
