Does Flickr embed still work on photo plugin..?

Hi

Using Dolphin 7.1.4.

When my users try to embed a photo using the Flickr embedding tool, they are prompted to paste in a URL which looks like this:

Example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/39193323@N07/3606466418/

Pasting a similar url (flickr now uses https:...), the plugin returns the error: "EMBEDDING FAILED".

My question(s)

1. Does this part of the photo plugin still work?

2. If so, what changes need to be made to the URL to get it to work?

3. Anyone else having problems?

Oh dear... Don't tell me that Dolphin is as bad as Socialengine...?!

Why are there so many problems and very little action on fixing them?

We are working on this problem, but maybe we need to replace Flickr with something else - most of the photos posted there aren't for sharing.

Good to hear about working on it... but why not use Flickr? It's the largest site of its kind and there are hundreds of thousands of photos (if not millions) that aren't protected.... Perhaps use Instagram?
