Do not allow allow all photos on timeline

How can I make it stop putting a users entire photo set on the timeline.  I do not want one persons uploads dominating my frontpage.

There is no control for the number of photos; you can either remove photos from the timeline completely or leave as is.

the issue is I had a user upload a whole bunch of pics and they took up the entire timeline and not just one block so every photo was them.  this cannot be changed so that they are only in one block?
