Do I see this correctly?

OK when I first started I wanted everything to be used for SEO to garner attention to the site so I was not concerned about navigational structure because it was more going after a single page phone call.  IF IF I want to make it so a very large number of the navigational possibility or module possibilities were only able to be seen by members then would that also stops the ability for SEO to see it as well?  I changed quite a few modules to be seen by members only and then clicked on the outline with links back to things only able to be seen by members and it stopped it from being seen by throwing errors.

My question is that just almost like a cache issue that got confused based on changing it after it has already been posted?  I want desperately for the site to have VERY limited just a couple options as guest and all the options if a member BUT AND HOWEVER I don't want the pages to not be visible to bots...I think this has happened just because of a transition from old rules to new rules and the system would adjust because each post sets the visibility as it is made...IOW like public...Just because they can't see the module unless they are a member should not stop the page from being public?  The logic seems correct but I need clarification please...  THIS is a major shift in theory and if the answers are wrong it could affect the 500,000 pages submitted to Google and the like...

Chris, you must realize that all pages, no matter the privacy or sites with memberships to see photos are included in googles search results, there is no way around it unless you specify what folders/modules not to index.

e.g. google images searches pull up private images from sites with memberships that are normally blocked. you must tell google not to index these folders/pages.

yes, as I have a couple of adult sites, I have to block the indexing of those folders. (avatars, photos) and I mean down to the exact, e.g.

adultsite/modules/boonex/photos/data/files..

this is where all my member photos are stored. I do not allow indexing of this folder for that purpose.
