Different look website on two computers

On 1 computer (toshiba with windows 7) on mozilla everything looks as it should.

On 2 computer (hp with windows xp - earlier linux) on mozilla not work everything good. For eg on 1 computer I see a little transparent blocks, but on 2 computer all blocks have a white background. The same applies to the menu navigation bar.
Another problem when I switch languages on the 2 computer (eg English) - it works but only immediately after the change. When I enter eg pictures or anything else on my website, English language disappears and reappears primary Polish.

I would add that resets Mozilla on a 2 computer technical support mozilla and have the latest version. What could be the problem?

tried clearing your browser cache?

OK, this may be a browser thingy.  Are you using IE?  IE dropped support for XP with version 8 I believe and IE8 is not a CSS3 compatible browser.  Download FireFox and Chrome for your XP box and see how the site appears.  You can also download Opera but I have seen issues with Opera and my Dolphin site so don't let anything with Opera scare you.

I am betting thats what it is. Lack of CSS3 support on older browsers. Dolphin 7.1 uses a lot of CSS transparency which older browsers like IE8 does not support.

Transparency support does not work on the following browsers which will fall back to a solid color.

Mozilla Firefox 2.x (and down)
WebKit - Safari 2.x (and down)
Opera 9.x (and down)
Internet Explorer 8 (and down)
Netscape (any version)

I cleaned the cache but it did not help, also reset with the help of firefox support did not help. Shows me the information that I have the latest Firefox browser, while you can see even the appearance that it is not the newest (small differences). However, should support transparency and it amazes me. I'll check tomorrow for Chrome and Opera and will see transparency.

Ok I check also Chrome and Opera on computer 2 and nothing. Still does not support transparency. What could be the reason?

You didn't mentioned your browser version and build. Probably they are different on both computers. Also could be some restrictions on your website.

Also you didn't mentioned if website is Dolphin based or not. :)

Computer brand doesn't make any difference in website look. Only browser versions and OS.

Ok, on these two computers is the same browser. Newest Mozilla Firefox.
What kind of restrictions on my website about?

Of course, based on Dolphin ;)

My guess is that this may not be a computer fault. But I'm trying to figure out why on different computers website looks different. I would like to adapt it to all browsers and computers to look favorably and the same.

If you would install the same OS on both computers and the same browser with the same plugins, I'm pretty sure it would show your site in the same way. Probably you have a different plugins installed in browser or something.

Without seeing the actual site, since you can't share its URL, I think we can only "guess" all possible cases, which doesn't make any sense. It's hard to explain the chocolate taste to someone, who have never tried it.

The same FF browser on XP and on Windows 7 should be very close.  Now of course both computer monitors must be set to the same resolution; and both monitors would have to have the color calibrated as close as possible.  CSS is handled by the browser; as well as javascript.  Therefore, the webpage should be very close on XP as well as Windows 7.

Make sure that both XP and 7 FF browsers are the same with the same plugins; you have to make sure there is not something else at play.
