Difference between prohilepage and accountpage?

your profile is about you and is visible to your audience

your account page is like a control centre and normally with things specific to you that only you see! Many mods with give blocks that show things related to you for example local 'deals' would show for your location if you had deals module. Account page has controls like suspend account, notifications, mail and quick links etc
